    MK Dons full-back Lee Hodson has joined Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

    The 24-year-old, who played 16 games on loan at Kilmarnock last season, will compete with James Tavernier.

    Hodson started his career at Watford and played 51 games in three seasons at MK Dons after a loan at Brentford.

    There's been criticism of the suspended sentence given to the co-owner of an American-style summer camp in Hertfordshire who took indecent photos of children.

    Ben Lewis, 26, (pictured) walked out of court on Tuesday after spending 14 months on remand. He was handed a two-year jail sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to pay costs of £3,000.

    This father, who didn't want to be named, said: "I'm disgusted with it, totally disgusted with it, just shows that the judicial system is not working properly."

    Meanwhile, St Albans MP Ann Main has not revealed which candidate she will be supporting, but told BBC Three Counties Radio the next leader would have to be a fellow Leave campaigner.

    As more Conservative MPs join the contest to be the next party leader, and therefore the next prime minister, the Conservative MP for Watford Richard Harrington has told BBC Three Counties Radio he is backing Theresa May.

    Current home secretary Ms May has thrown her hat in the ring along with justice secretary Michael Gove, the MP for South Northamptonshire Andrea Leadsom, work and pensions secretary Stephen Crabb and former defence secretary Liam Fox.

    Mr Harrington said: "Her experience of six years at the Home Office, for me, has made it very clear that this is so complex.

    "This is not something that you could just trifle with and I think she's by far the best person to do it."

    Luton-based Easyjet has again stated its commitment to Luton, after chief executive Carolyn McCall said yesterday that she couldn't commit to keeping the airline's headquarters in Britain.

    Easyjet's UK commercial manager Neil Slaven said: "We wouldn't be moving lock, stock and barrel from Luton so at the moment we know that Luton will remain. In terms of a large number of people it's a very important part of our network.

    "It's our third largest base and actually when you look at where Easyjet is growing across Europe, we're actually growing more in Luton than any of our other 28 bases."

    The American owner of Luton-based Vauxhall says it's too early to assess the impact of Britain's vote to leave the EU.

    Mustafa Mohataram, General Motors' chief economist, said the company would have to wait until the dust settled, but didn't rule out extra production at Luton or Ellesmere Port as long as economic conditions were favourable.

    A World War Two veteran from Hertfordshire says he feels sick after he was scammed out of his life savings.

    Hertfordshire Police said fraudsters phoned 91-year-old Cyril Banks at his Bishop's Stortford home on 20 June and persuaded him to withdraw £9,000 from his bank account.

    The call came from a man claiming to be John Hart from Scotland Yard, who told Mr Banks his bank account had been targeted and he needed to withdraw the money to help catch the thieves.

    His friends say he has given so much to this country and its vile that fraudsters would have targeted him in this way. A crowd funding page has been set up to help him get back some of the money he's lost.

    The headteacher at St Albans School, external has been talking about what happened yesterday when 26 of his pupils were rescued from the Brecon Beacons.

    Jonathan Gillespie said 47 pupils in Year 11 were on the second day of a three-day silver Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition when two began to feel unwell. 

    He said they were part of a smaller group of seven pupils, who followed their training procedures and called for help.

    Mr Gillespie said the school was contacted and a member of staff was able to give police the six digit grid reference for the pupils' location. 

    He said two members of staff reached the group within 90 minutes and the mountain rescue team led them off the hill.

    "I'm very proud of my staff and pupils at how they responded to it and grateful to the emergency services," he said.

    He said several of the groups were still on track to complete the expedition.

    The headmaster of St Albans School, external has praised pupils and staff and thanked the emergency services after 26 pupils were rescued from the Brecon Beacons, but he said they were never missing.

    Jonathan Gillespie said the teenagers had been on a Duke of Edinburgh exercise. 

    He said their location was always known, but they needed help after two of the group were taken ill. He added they were all fit enough to walk off the hill and were given a precautionary medical check.  

    Three mountain rescue teams, police and ambulance crews were sent to the area in south Wales yesterday afternoon after the group were said to be lost in torrential rain and low cloud.

    The students are expected back in St Albans today.
