Labour councillor Mohammed Khan, who represents the Bletchley East Ward, says he's "angry" and "annoyed" it's taken so long for the information to come out, as the attack happened over a month ago.

Visakan Fisivanathan lives in the area and saw the attack. He told me he first heard a screaming lady shouting "help me, help me".

He says attacks like this can happen in the area but this was unusual as the woman "kept on screaming."

He told me he saw a big white man "punching and pushing" her. When two men came to help her he also "punched" them.

He described the whole attack as "sickening" and "madness."

With just nine days to go until the Strictly Come Dancing live shows, we're keeping an eye on our man Greg Rutherford in training with his pro partner Natalie Lowe.

Unless of course their first dance is to Bucks Fizz's 1982 Number 1 hit The Camera Never Lies and it's a prop?

More details now on the Veolia waste story.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire County Council, external says the contract with Veolia is to provide an energy recovery facility in Hoddesdon, to treat waste that is not recycled, re-used or composted.

"If Veolia, external are successful in achieving planning permission, the facility will replace our current arrangements which use a combination of landfill and energy recovery facilities the majority of which are outside of Hertfordshire," she said.

The authority believes any alternative would be significantly more expensive for a number of reasons, but in part down to increased transportation costs of getting the waste to facilities with available capacity.
