People in St Albans are being asked to check the pockets of their winter clothes for a missing £1m EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize.
The National Lottery said runners dressed as "memory-jogging butlers" will join those taking part in the St Alban's Half Marathon on 11 June.
The lucky winner bought their ticket in the St Albans area for the 27 December 2016 draw but has still to check their ticket which bears the winning code TKKW 52614. They have until 25 June 2017 to claim their prize.
Andy Carter from The National Lottery, said: "The ticket was bought... just a couple of days after we'd celebrated Christmas and when we were all wrapped up warm against the winter chill, so try checking in the pockets of winter clothes or in wallets, bags, and even down the back of the sofa – someone could quite literally be sitting on a fortune and the clock is ticking."
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
