    A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the death of a teenager in Watford.

    Koy Bently, 15, died from a stab wound to the chest following an attack at a flat on Water Lane, Watford, on 5 June.

    The boy accused of his murder is from Willesden, London, and cannot be named for legal reasons.

    He is due to appear at Hatfield Remand Court later.

    A second person – a 24-year-old man from Greenwich – who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been bailed until 4 July.

    The new Bedford MP says his top priority is the future of the town's hospital.

    Labour's Mohammad Yasin told the BBC it had been the key issue in the local election campaign and he would be holding meetings with the hospital and NHS bosses in the near future.

    "People are not sure what's going to happen to A&E, maternity and paediatric and we don't know the future," he said.

    "We think they may go out of Bedford and go to Luton or Milton Keynes and people are really worried.

    "My plan is that we want to keep the core services at Bedford."

    Two MPs from this region have been given prominent roles in Theresa May's new cabinet, which will meet for the first time this morning since last Thursday's election.

    Meanwhile, South West Hertfordshire MP David Gauke has been made work and pensions secretary.

    Police investigating the death of a teenage boy in Watford a week ago have been questioning two people over the weekend.

    Koy Bentley, 15, died from a stab wound to the chest inside a flat on Water Lane last Monday afternoon.

    A 24-year-old man from Greenwich and a 15-year-old boy from Willesden were arrested on suspicion of murder.
