Two bodies were pulled out last night and it could take most of the day to recover the other three.

The fire service has told us that to do that, it is having to drill through concrete columns to break them up so they can be moved.

The collapsed wall was made up of several of these blocks, estimated to weigh 1.5 tonnes each.

Emergency vehicles are a constant presence.

  6. 'Significant amount of metal' to be moved says policepublished at 08:49 British Summer Time 8 July 2016

The sheer amount of debris left by the collapse is among the difficulties facing recovery crews.

Not only did the wall - comprised of heavy concrete blocks - fall on to the men, so did the metal it was retaining.

It's an extremely difficult and complex scene. There is still a significant amount of metal which we are having to move each time we access one of the concrete blocks. It is an extremely difficult challenging task this morning.
