When Zahid Hussain, 29, from Alum Rock was arrested by police, he was carrying these weapons.
Hussain has been found guilty of preparing for an act of terrorism by a jury at Birmingham Crown Court.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
A man from Birmingham has been found guilty of preparing for an act of terrorism.
Zahid Hussain, 29, from Alum Rock, had a bomb made out of a pressure cooker and packed with shrapnel.
Although the device wouldn't have worked, the jury heard he had been considering attacking the main Birmingham to London railway line.
The silence was observed all across the country at 11:00.

The five people who were killed in a collision involving a lorry and car on the M6 in Staffordshire yesterday were Romanian nationals. , external
Four females and a male, all believed to be adults, in a Nissan Micra died in the crash yesterday morning between junction 15, for Stoke-on-Trent, and 14, for Stafford.
Staffordshire Police says the Romanian Embassy has been told.
Officers say a sixth person, who was a passenger in the front seat, is in a stable condition in hospital.
The force adds that the lorry driver, a 60-year-old West Midlands man who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been released under investigation.
Birmingham Cathedral is set to reopen later after closing to review security in the wake of the Manchester terror attack.
A vigil for the victims was held outside the building in Cathedral Square last night.
Acting Dean, Reverend Canon Nigel Hand, said: "Our prayers remain with all those individuals and their families whose lives have been touched by acts of terrorism."

A man has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon after police made an arrest at a Birmingham vigil for the victims of the Manchester Arena attack.
Julian Paul Vivian Blake has also been charged with resisting or obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty and three offences of possessing a sharp or pointed article in public.
The 39-year-old, of no fixed address, is due before magistrates later.
