We're expecting more of the same tomorrow with cloud remaining over most of the region.
It might be a little warmer though, with temperatures forecast to reach 22C (72F).
West Midlands Ambulance Service, external says following the Manchester attack it sent 10 ambulances and a paramedic officer to Cheshire before being stood down.
It said this was to deal with 999 calls while North West Ambulance Service dealt with injuries in the wake of the explosion at a pop concert venue.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "It's a national plan that's in place to make sure that any service that's under particular pressure can receive assistance from other trusts.
"People can be assured that the ambulance services are absolutely ready to deal with incidents like this."

A professor of security at the University of Wolverhampton, external says the "threat of indiscriminate terror" will be "with us for some time".
Speaking after the Manchester attack, George Kassimeris said that would be the case "even if our intelligence and police work improves a great deal".
He said: "This makes it all the more important to deal with the root causes of this type of terrorism rather than simply to try to defend against it."
A statement from Birmingham Central Mosque said it "strongly" condemned the attack on behalf of the city's Muslim community.
It said: "Human life is very sacred and this brutal attack must be condemned by all regardless of any background."

Allegations a resident at a Worcestershire care home was strapped into their bed overnight are being investigated, police have confirmed.
West Mercia Police say they are investigating after reports of "an incident" at Lickey Hills Care Home earlier this month.
A spokesperson for the home says the allegations are being taken "extremely seriously" but its initial findings show there is "no evidence to suggest velcro straps were used" on a resident.
The home says it is "working closely with police and other agencies".
West Midlands Police says it is reviewing "venues and events taking place" over the next fortnight following last night's attack in Manchester.

The explosion that killed 22 people following a pop concert in Manchester last night happened in a box office area at the venue, close to the entrance to Victoria railway and tram station.
George Kassimeris, a professor of security at the University of Wolverhampton, said the attack potentially raised "a number of questions concerning security regarding concert venues/stadia nationwide" with the "summer season looming".
He said "it is important to remember all those many attacks that never materialise because of the vigilance and prevention strategies of UK’s counter-terrorism forces".

The incident happened in Darlaston, West Midlands Fire Service, external said.
Six fire engines are at the scene of a factory fire in Darlaston.
Crews from across the region are in attendance on Willenhall Road, West Midlands Fire Service says.

Assistant Chief Constable Alex Murray said the attack was "beyond words" and the force is continuing to liaise with Greater Manchester Police "to establish if there are any victims from our area".
The force supported the policing of the incident "in the early stages" and now the focus is on providing an "appropriate policing response" over the coming days, he said.

A security intelligence expert based in Birmingham says the suicide attacker that struck at a pop concert in Manchester will have looked at the venue's security measures.
Phil Ingram said: "[Such venues] work on what is called an onion ring principle where you get layers of security that work their way into the tightest level.
"This suicide bomber will have looked at that, looked at the layers of security and seen how he can get as close as possible without actually having got into an area where it would have made him stand out and be suspicious."
