New speed cameras have returned to two roads in Coventry.
The city council's cabinet met yesterday to finalise the plans for average speed cameras in Ansty Road and London Road.
A report by the authority says, external while the total number of accidents in Coventry's falling, the number of people killed or seriously hurt on main roads is rising.
It goes on to say it anticipates the maintenance of the cameras will be paid for by a share of the revenue from speed awareness course fees.
