Eleven £5 notes, engraved with a tiny portrait of England striker Harry Kane, could be put into circulation and potentially be worth thousands of pounds.
Birmingham-born micro-engraver Graham Short previously produced four notes with a 5mm portrait of Pride and Prejudice author Jane Austen on them.
He's told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he's already finished nine with Kane's face on them.
Should England beat Croatia in their semi-final on Wednesday, he says he'll then criss-cross the country, spending the 11 notes anonymously so they enter circulation.
Quote MessageI don't think it'd be right if they lose to Croatia. If they play in the final, I think I might go ahead anyway and do it. It'll take me, I reckon, about three weeks after the final which is Sunday 15th so they'll all be spent by 5 August."
