Port Vale manager John Askey doesn't want his team to be distracted by the FA Cup when they play Macclesfield in League Two tomorrow.
Three days later they are due to face Manchester City in the cup, but Askey insisted "the most important thing is the league".
He described cup games as "the icing on the cake", but explained the league games "keep the season going" and hoped to continue their push for a playoff place.

The writer and creator of hit BBC drama Peaky Blinders has said contracts are about to be signed for a new film and TV studio that will "put Birmingham on the map".
Steven Knight gave the update while speaking about the CBE he had been awarded in the Queen's New Year Honours list.
Mr Knight said they were now "crossing the finishing line" to get the £100m project up and running.
A 23-year old man is in hospital with serious head injuries after being attacked down an alleyway in Newcastle-under-Lyme last night.
Staffordshire Police believes the 23-year-old victim was attacked by a group of three men and one woman behind the Revolution Bar, off Market Lane, just before 23:00.
The man also had his phone and some cash stolen. His injuries aren't life threatening, officers said.
