Hospitals reveal pandemic impact in new seriespublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 21 April 2021
University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire will be the backdrop for the return of the BBC Two series Hospital, which documents the impact of the pandemic on the NHS.
The six-part documentary series will air on BBC Two in the spring.
The BBC said the programmes would be "driven by the everyday, personal experiences of workers and patients alike," and explore "unprecedented times" in the NHS.
"This is undoubtedly a vital time in the history of the NHS, with the UK’s entire health system coming together to respond to and recover from arguably the greatest challenge it has ever faced," UHCW chief executive Prof Andy Hardy said.
"We are honoured to be able to share a look inside this momentous journey with the public.”
