A bride-to-be is locked in a "battle" with a hotel after not being given a refund and asked to pay £6,000 towards her wedding, which was cancelled due to the coronavius.
Shantelle Panchal, 24, from Coventry was told by Whittlebury Park Hotel near Towcester, Northamptonshire, she would instead receive a gift card.
Miss Panchal was due to marry Mitul Patel, a community pharmacist, 25, from Leicester, on 25 April but the venue has been closed in line with government guidelines.
The hotel has yet to comment on the case.

Darts legend Phil "The Power" Taylor has come to the rescue of NHS worker Spencer James in Staffordshire.
The former world champion said: "After seeing that Spencer had his bike stolen in the local paper, I thought I could do my bit to support our NHS staff and help get him back on the road and in the fight against coronavirus."
Not only that but he also donated some masks and gloves.
Design and technology teachers are making face shields to protect front line medical and care workers.
Staff at Thomas Adams School in Wem, Shropshire are sending their first batch to the respiratory ward at Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital.
They are aiming to make 100 shields a day using a laser cutter, polypropylene and acetate sheets.
Head teacher, Mark Cooper, said: “This is a brilliant use of staff skills and our school equipment to help key workers who are facing exceptionally challenging situations on a daily basis."
All car parks at Coventry’s parks are to close from lunchtime tomorrow.
Parks will remain open for visitors on foot, despite calls over the weekend from some residents to close them outright.
Andrew Walster, the director with responsibility for parks, said the council had wrestled with the decision as most people had observed social distancing at the city's parks.
But he added most people in the city live relatively close to a park or fields so can enjoy a walk without having to travel in a car to get there.

Wolves forward Leonardo Campana (pictured right) has revealed he and his entire family have had coronavirus.
The 19-year-old is recovering at home while the squad is off after the pandemic forced the postponement of all elite football in the UK.
Campana is on lockdown with his family in Wolverhampton but confirmed he is improving.
Images have been released of a man police would like to speak to over the suspected theft of baby milk formula during which a store manager was headbutted.
