Teachers make 2,000 face shields for NHS staffpublished at 10:25 British Summer Time 7 April 2020
Teachers making face shields to help protect NHS workers from coronavius have sent out more than 2,200.
Stuart Sweetman and two other design and technology staff are making the masks at King Henry VIII school in Coventry.
The school said it had had been "overwhelmed" by support, and a crowdfunding page set up to raise funds for materials has so far raised more than £2,000.

Shields have gone to more than 100 places including the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton and also to care homes and mental health staff.
