    West Midlands Ambulance Service has added more electric vehicles to its fleet as it works towards targets to cut emissions by 80%.

    In October last year, the trust's first electric ambulance was revealed, followed by two electric response vehicles in March.

    The latest additions to its fleet includes four electric vans for the IT support team, with a range of more than 60 miles.

    "[We] are continually assessing our support fleet to make changes where possible," Tony Page, from WMAS, said.

    University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire will be the backdrop for the return of the BBC Two series Hospital, which documents the impact of the pandemic on the NHS.

    The six-part documentary series will air on BBC Two in the spring.

    The BBC said the programmes would be "driven by the everyday, personal experiences of workers and patients alike," and explore "unprecedented times" in the NHS.

    "This is undoubtedly a vital time in the history of the NHS, with the UK’s entire health system coming together to respond to and recover from arguably the greatest challenge it has ever faced," UHCW chief executive Prof Andy Hardy said.

    "We are honoured to be able to share a look inside this momentous journey with the public.”

    Three people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after a raid on a property in Cannock.

    Staffordshire Police said it spotted a suspicious blue BMW on Matlock Drive at 13:15 BST.

    After its occupants were found at the rear of a property a 52-year-old man from Burntwood was detained and found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine.

    He has since been issued with a conditional caution.

    Officers then forced entry into the property, where cash, phones, drugs, bladed articles and 24 cannabis plants were found and seized.

    Three men, aged 45, 47 and 52, all from Cannock, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and have been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
