    A man has been stabbed and chased down a street in Worcester city centre.

    A member of the public reported the incident at The Foregate during the early hours of Sunday.

    Det Supt Chris Buffery from West Mercia Police said: "We believe this is an isolated incident, the victim has been treated in hospital for two stab wounds.

    "We are appealing to anyone who may have seen this incident or have information that might help our inquiries."

    The man was found collapsed by the side of Bristol Road in Birmingham on Saturday and taken to hospital where he later died.

    Three men aged 22, 30 and 40 were arrested on suspicion of murder at separate addresses in Nottinghamshire on Sunday, police said, external.

    A woman, 28, and a 15-year-old girl were arrested at the scene on Saturday.

    Det Insp Stu Mobberley said: "We’ve made rapid progress... our inquiries continue and we are actively seeking at least one other person.

    "I still really need to hear from anyone who was in Mill Pool Way, Bournbrook, at around 4-5pm [on Saturday] and who saw what happened or any disorder to get in touch."
