A riverside walkway and park and a new entrance to the railway station are just two suggestions for how to revitalise Shrewsbury over the next 20 years.
A plan has been drawn up by the Shrewsbury Big Town Plan Partnership, external, made up of local councils and business leaders.
They said they want to "spark debate" about the town's next few years and make it "future-proof".
As well as the walkway and station entrance, another idea is revamping the Abbey Foregate viaduct to give space for business and community events.
People can have their say during a series of online discussions from 19 January.

A doubling in the rate of new Covid-19 infections among the over 60s in Telford and Wrekin is very worrying, a health boss says.
In the seven days up to Sunday there were 446 cases per 100,000 people and the borough's director of public health, Liz Noakes, said the rate was approaching 500.
"That represents a trebling in terms of the number of cases from the previous week so that is a real escalation," she said.
"What is really concerning is in terms of the over 60s, we have had a doubling in those rates."
Mrs Noakes said the rise showed no signs of stopping and it could take at least two weeks to see any impact from the new lockdown.
Students unable to return to managed halls at Birmingham City University during coronavirus restrictions will have accommodation fees waived, it has been announced.
A number of students across England have pledged to withhold rent on university accommodation they cannot use during the Covid lockdown.
Students unable to use rooms at its University Locks accommodation will not be charged, the university said.
Those who have already returned to their rooms or remained in the halls over Christmas will be given a discount of £50 per week to cover the period of restrictions, it said in a statement.

A postcard sent to a man by his penpal in New York has arrived at his home more than 65 years after it was sent.
Chris Hermon, from Pershore, Worcestershire, used to write back and forth with Fred Kendall when he was a young boy.
Over the years he said they lost contact and Mr Kendall has since died.
However a postcard sent by him in 1955 from Grand Central Station was recently found by staff in a charity shop in Dorset and they tracked Mr Hermon down and sent him the card.
"I was absolutely elated to receive it 65 years on and I was thrilled at them tracing me, finding me and forwarding the card to me," he said.

A Staffordshire head teacher says she's had much more demand for key worker places than the last time schools closed for lockdown.
The county council says schools may have to prioritise and tell some critical workers there is no capacity for their children.
Emily Proffitt is in charge at Cooper Perry Primary School, Seighford, and says more people seem to want places for their children.
"We are at that point where we have waiting lists for each bubble, trying to decide who is more deserving of a place which is an awful thing to say and not what we want to do."
