    BBC Breakfast has gone behind the scenes with world champion swimmer Adam Peaty as he juggles his Olympic preparations with fatherhood and moving house.

    The Staffordshire swimmer said legacy was "something that you can't almost create, it creates itself."

    He said: "Some days I absolutely love it. Some days I absolutely hate it.

    "I just want to be the best. It's simple as that."

    In the video, Peaty stated: "We're literally 30 seconds from the new house and it's very exciting.... Honestly this is like why all the hard work is worth it."

    Worcestershire and Warwickshire have both struggled after being put in to bat this morning on the first day of their latest County Championship matches.

    At New Road, Worcestershire lost their first six wickets for 82 runs against Durham, and are now on 106-6 with Brett D'Oliveira (pictured below) the highest scorer so far, with 29.

    Warwickshire are doing slightly better against Derbyshire and are on 111-4 with Sam Hain scoring 44 so far.

    Sam Conners has taken all four wickets and is one of seven bowlers used by Derbyshire so far.

  17. More Conservative rebels join bid to reverse cutspublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    The government is facing a growing rebellion that could force it to reverse cuts to foreign aid.

    Thirty Tory rebels, including former prime minister Theresa May, have now promised to back a bid to increase aid spending in 2022.

    The Sutton Coldfield MP Andrew Mitchell - who is leading the rebellion - said he was confident of finding the 45 or so Conservative rebels needed to defeat the government.

    The rebels want to restore aid spending to 0.7% of national income from next January, after ministers reduced it to 0.5% this year, a cut of almost £4bn.
