Coventry's planned Very Light Rail system is set to get another big cash injection later.
The city council says when it's complete it could offer people a London Underground-style transport service that's more reliable than the buses.
Later councillors are expected to sign off another £3.2m to make sure the plan gets off the ground.
Quote MessageThe idea is that this will be very much a turn up and go system, so it's not like you're waiting 10, 15 minutes for the next one, there would ultimately have to be one coming along, a bit like the Underground in London and elsewhere - the next one would be along in two minutes, and ultimately the aim is for them to be autonomous as well."
