    The fiancée of a man who died in the 9/11 terror attacks in New York said "it was a moment in time she will never forget".

    On the eve of the 20th anniversary of the events in the US, bereaved people have been remembering loved ones who were killed.

    Andrew Bailey from Solihull worked as a security supervisor in the World Trade Center when two hijacked planes struck the towers.

    He hadn't been due to be working on 11 September 2001, but had swapped a shift to help a colleague.

    Partner Miosotys Santiago said "you try to remember every minute of that day".

    Birmingham musician Laura Mvula will perform at the Mercury Music Prize later, and is vying for the trophy after her third nomination.

    After releasing two Mercury-nominated albums - 2013's Sing To The Moon and 2016's The Dreaming Room - Laura Mvula was unceremoniously dumped by Sony Music, who informed her of their decision by forwarding an email that was just seven lines long.

    She subsequently said it was "a hard thing to make sense of and to come back from", but, earlier this year, she bounced back in style, with her triumphant, joyous, liberated third album, Pink Noise.

    She is up against favourites Arlo Parks and Sault.

    A woman and two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man suffered several stab wounds in Warwick.

    The victim, in his 40s, was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, police said.

    Officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a property in Willow Drive shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

    The 19-year-old woman was arrested at the scene, and two men aged 28 and 33 were later stopped in a car in Banbury Road.

    A 39-year-old man from Coventry was also arrested on suspicion of affray.

    Drugs were also seized during his arrest, said Warwickshire Police.
