  3. What's happening? A reminderpublished at 09:50 British Summer Time 7 May 2016

For those across Bristol who turned out to vote on Thursday, they were faced with three questions:

    1. Who do you want as mayor?
    2. Who do you want as police commissioner?
    3. Who do you want to represent your ward on the city council?
    A vote being cast

On Friday the votes were counted for police and crime commissioner, and Sue Mountstevens (Independent) was re-elected with a total of 118,547 votes - some 18,000 more than second placed Kerry Barker (Labour) who had 100,565 votes.

Today the votes are being counted for Bristol mayor but prospective councillors will have to wait until Sunday for their votes to be counted and declarations made.
