'Eyesore' site chosen for new uni campuspublished at 07:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016
The University of Bristol's new multi-million pound campus is to be built on the site of a former mail sorting office at Temple Meads.
Earlier this month the university said it was assessing potential locations as its current campus was near capacity.
The Temple Quarter Campus will house a "digital innovation hub" and a "business school of the future".
It makes the area around the railway station one of the largest urban development projects in the UK.
