Tyres that have been let down on three cars in Felton

Car owners who parked in a village near Bristol Airport have found their tyres let down.

It's thought the vehicles belonged to people who'd parked in Felton before catching a flight.

Villagers say they have an ongoing issue with holidaymakers leaving their cars for long periods of time.

Bristol Airport said it had met with local residents, the police and councillors and wants to introduce a waiting area for taxis and a free-of-charge drop off facility at the airport to try to deal with the issue.

    Quote Message

We are not that different from people in Bristol getting cars parking outside their houses when owners go shopping. But here we get people very frequently leaving cars for one or two weeks when they go on holiday and we get a lot of disruption overnight.

Peter Longden, Independent councillor at Winford Parish Council
