    Police called to an Ely primary school today after reports of a strong cannabis smell discovered it was caused by wildflowers, external.

    Teachers and parents at Rackham Primary School reported the smell of cannabis "wafting across the car park".

    Police say: "There isn't cannabis production going on in that area - however there is a crop of a wildflower named Phlox which has an almost identical smell".

    Detectives investigating the murder of Rikki Neave in Peterborough have revealed four new possible sightings of the six-year-old shortly before his death in 1994.

    • On 28 November at 17:00, Rikki is believed to have been seen outside shops in Scalford Drive, leaving with two teenage boys.
    • At 21:00 someone matching Rikki’s description is seen outside the flats in Tilton Court, walking with a teenage boy with a dog.
    • An hour later, two boys are seen pushing a buggy in Belvoir way, heading towards woodland.
    • The next day at 06.30, two boys are seen leaving the woods where Rikki’s body was discovered later that day. A jogger is also seen in the area at the same time.

    We've just heard a female cyclist in her 20s has been seriously injured after being struck by a lorry on Mill Road in Cambridge.

    Cambridgeshire Police say the victim has been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. 

    The collision happened at Mill Road's junction with Hemingford Road.
