    Five more patients have died in hospital of coronavirus in the east of England according to the latest daily government figures , externalissued on Tuesday.

    The deaths were at the following NHS trusts:

    • East Suffolk and North Essex (Ipswich and Coclhester hospitals): 1
    • Northampton General Hospital: 2
    • West Hertfordshire Hospitals: 2

    The total number of deaths for the eastern region is 3,975.

    Across the UK the number of deaths increased by 155 and stands at 43,730.
