Train services are being diverted via Solihull, cancelled or revised.
A bus replacement service is running between Shirley and Stratford-upon-Avon in both directions.
Ticket acceptance measures are also in place with Chiltern Railways and National Express.

A motorcyclist remains in a critical condition in hospital after a collision with a car which drove off from the crash.
It happened on Kenilworth Road, Coventry, on Saturday evening, West Midlands Police said., external
The 28-year-old was knocked off his bike and collided with a bus going in the opposite direction.
Officers have released photos of a panel and a fog light which they said the car left behind at the scene.

Plans to ask residents in two towns to pay extra council tax to tackle climate change have been shelved as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A referendum on whether people in Warwick and Leamington would be willing to pay £1 extra a week was due to be held in May.
However, it was cancelled along with all local elections as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Warwick District Council leader Andrew Day has now confirmed the vote won't be held in 2021 either.
Instead the council is looking to form a "super district" by merging some services with Stratford-on-Avon District Council.
The two authorities will look at how they can work together to tackle climate change issues.

Plans have been approved for a new training ground for Wasps rugby club, despite more than 700 objections.
Stratford District Council approved the proposals, external for the club to build their new complex at Henley-in-Arden Sports Club.
The objections had centred around the loss of community access to the sports pitches.
Wasps said , externalgetting the permission was a "landmark moment" for the club.
However the decision will be reviewed by the government as Sport England objected to the loss of community sports facilities.
Eleven Wasps players are unavailable for selection for Saturday's Premiership final, head coach Lee Blackett confirms.

Supporters of an ancient ceremony say they are "extremely sorry" it has been cancelled for the first time in a century due to coronavirus.
David Eadon, 82, has not missed the The Wroth Silver ceremony in Warwickshire since 1938, but said he reluctantly accepted it could not go ahead.
The event is derived from the annual tax paid to the lord of the manor, and features in the Domesday Book of 1086.
The ceremony sees volunteers put 46p in the hollowed-out base of an Anglo-Saxon cross.
The Wroth Silver ceremony, mentioned in the Domesday Book, had kept going through two world wars.

A man's suffered a "brutal attack" on his doorstep which saw him slashed across the face and neck.

A new Covid-19 test centre has opened in Leamington today.
The site on Court Street will be available to residents who have booked a test in advance, Warwick District Council said, external.
Infection rates in the area have increased to 141.2 per 100,000 people in the seven days to 16 October, compared with 109.2 for the week before.
While in Staffordshire, plans have been approved for a drive-through test centre at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council approved the proposals for a longer-term site to swab patients awaiting surgery and members of staff.
The rate in the city has increased from 99.9 per 100,000 up to 9 October to 171.6.
Organisers say the year-long programme will officially launch on 15 May 2021.
