The club has been talking to the Sky Blues, external for a couple of years about training together and community work, and he feels a potential groundshare is a natural extension of their relationship.

I've spoken to the chairman of Coventry Rugby Club, John Sharp, following a report the Sky Blues are closer to a potential move to the Butts Park Arena, external.
He told me that there's no definite timescale for a proposed expansion of the stadium, it could be around three years, but that there was a meeting with football club officials and architects earlier this week.
Mr Sharp said they're at the feasibility stage and are not sure how long planning permission and building will take.
But there is an ambition from him to produce a stadium which would suit both clubs, large enough to accommodate football crowds, but also sensitively designed so smaller rugby crowds aren't like "peas in a pod".
