    • Winds: Strong to gale force westerly gusting 45-50mph
    • Cloud: Broken above 600m (2,000ft), down to 450m (1500ft) on western fells
    • Visibility: Good, falling moderate or poor in rain, hill snow & hill fog
    • Freezing level: 900m (3,000ft) at first falling to 400m, (1,300ft) this afternoon

    Carlisle United's chief executive Nigel Clibbens has revealed no discussions haven taken place - or are planned - with Edinburgh Woollen Mill to take over at Brunton Park.

    Speculation has continued over the company's level of involvement in the club after it was revealed they had entered into a "commercial funding facility" with United earlier this year.

    In an interview with the club's website, external, Mr Clibbens also revealed that stadium progress remains a top priority for the club, but admitted maintaining Brunton Park was becoming "more challenging by the week" due to its age and costs.

    The Poppi Worthington inquest resumes today - after a break for the fifth anniversary of the Barrow toddler's death yesterday.

    Another two doctors will present their views about the cause of the injuries - and death - today.

    There's been debate between medics about whether the 13-month-old had been sexually assaulted and whether she showed signs consistent with being smothered.

    Her father Paul Worthington denies sexually abusing his daughter and has never been charged.
