'Inconsiderate parking' blocks bus routepublished at 11:05 British Summer Time 1 June 2021
A bus company in the Lake District had to temporarily suspend one of its services for a time after the route was blocked by traffic and parked cars.
Stagecoach said the 77 and 77A were unable to travel to Catbells due to "inconsiderate parking and heavy congestion" on Monday afternoon.
The route, which runs from Keswick to Honister Pass, returned to operation at about 16:30.

Catbells is a popular walking route but there have been complaints about lack of parking in the area.
Mountain rescue volunteers have also voiced concern in the past that parked cars could prevent them being unable to respond to emergencies.
