    The charity that runs the UK Young National Festival, external has said it's trying to champion the next generation of creativity. 

    One of the artists who's taking part, 24-year-old Connor Rodgers, said: "I take everyday scenarios which I may find on the journey and try to associate landscape imagery painted onto found objects. 

    "Weekends like this play a key role in developing their careers."

    Jack Kelly is from East Midlands Airport he spoke to BBC Radio Derby.

    "One thing we want from government is a truly integrated comprehensive air rail road policy," he said.

    "Which makes sure all the transport which is vital to our growth is brought into one place."

    Managers at East Midlands Airport have said they want to double passenger flights and triple the amount of freight. 

    The airport at Castle Donington says regional airports are already able to respond to demand and need the government to come up with a policy

    A street in Derby's been cordoned off because of a suspicious package. 

    The police say they've taken the measures on Chapel Street as a precaution.

    They received a call at around 06:30.
