    The 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of arson after a shed fire in Huncote has been released with no further action.

    Officers are now appealing for witnesses after a garden shed was deliberately torched on Friday night. The blaze spread to a neighbouring shed.

    Leicestershire Foxes are top of the t20 Blast North Group after victory over Birmingham Bears.

    The Foxes, aided by Luke Ronchi's (pictured) 46, beat the Bears by nine runs on Sunday, to preserve their 100% record in the competition.

    Elsewhere on Sunday, Derbyshire Falcons lost their first game of the competition, being beaten by five wickets by Lancashire Lightning.

    The Falcons, who are now sixth in the table, travel to Worcestershire on Wednesday.

    Leicestershire are at Durham on Thursday, while Notts Outlaws' participation in the competition resumes on Friday when they host Derbyshire.

    A Derbyshire pub opened its doors for the first time this weekend after being bought by the community.

    People in Holbrook, near Belper, raised £250,000 to buy the Spotted Cow pub.

    A developer had wanted to build houses on the site, but planners refused to give permission and on Sunday it opened after a revamp.

    Stephanie Limb, who organised the campaign to get it re-opened, said: "There is a real community out there who are trying to create community-owned assets.

    "I think it is really growing."

    A consultation into the future of a children's heart unit at Leicester's Glenfield Hospital ends later.

    NHS England said the hospital's three surgeons are not meeting a total target of performing 375 operations a year.

    It announced last year that surgery for children born with heart defects should end at Glenfield.

    But shadow health secretary Jon Ashworth said the centre has backing from Labour and Tory MPs in the region., external

    A final decision on the unit's future will be made at a public meeting by NHS England, on a date yet to be specified.

    A 26-year-old man has been arrested after a fire at a house in Huncote, Leicestershire.

    A garden shed in Duncan Avenue was reported on fire late on Friday night which then spread to a neighbour's shed. No one was injured.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody.
