A public health campaign is urging parents in the East Midlands to visit a pharmacist for minor illnesses, instead of their GP or the hospital.
The NHS says if more used them, it would free up GPs for sicker patients and save around £850m a year.
Research for the NHS shows just 9% of parents in the region with children under the age of five, would consider getting help from a high street pharmacist.
