    The blast on Hinckley Road, Leicester, in February claimed the lives of Mary Ragoobar, Shane Ragoobeer, Sean Ragoobeer, Leah Reek and Viktorija Ijevleva.

    The session, at the Sir Charles Napier Pub on Sunday, will allow people to talk to the emergency services and the city council about any concerns they still have.

    A 31-year-old man has been arrested, external over a fight in Eastwood in which a machete was allegedly brandished.

    Part of the altercation, in Lydia Gardens on Friday evening, was caught on camera by a neighbour amid complaints Nottinghamshire Police's initial response to the incident was inadequate.

    This morning, Supt Ian Roberts said in a statement: "We sincerely apologise to the victim of this offence for the delay in taking a statement from him.

    "We are carrying out a number of inquiries including speaking to potential witnesses and locating CCTV.

    "It is an isolated incident, however we will be carrying out reassurance patrols in the area."

    A number of homes in the LE4 postcode area of Leicester are without water this morning following a problem with the local supply network.

    Two men have been charged, external after another man was attacked outside his home before it was ransacked by robbers.

    Police said the victim was targeted in Gibbons Avenue, Stapleford on 17 April.

    A 40-year-old man was charged with kidnap and robbery, and a 25-year-old man was charged with robbery.

    Rutland County Council has cut funding for its drug and alcohol services by almost half since 2013.

    The figures were uncovered by BBC England's Data Unit which revealed that across England, there has been an 18% cut in funding for treatment during that period.

    In 2013 there were 2,734 drug poisoning deaths in England, rising to 3,450 in 2016, official figures show.

    Rutland was among ten councils which slashed funding by more than 40% since 2013.

    The M1 northbound is closed between junctions 23a and 24 after a lorry shed its load across two lanes.

    All traffic is being diverted off the motorway while the carriageway is cleared up.

    Several Nottinghamshire councils have joined forces, external to stop taxi drivers operating illegally.

    Nottingham City, Gedling, Rushcliffe, Broxtowe, Bassetlaw and Newark & Sherwood have all signed the Cross Border Enforcement Protocol - which gives officials the ability to check each other's taxis and cabs.

    It follows concerns about private hire drivers illegally operating across different areas without fares being pre-booked - an offence known as illegally plying for hire.

    A motorcyclist who died in a crash in Leicestershire at the weekend has been named by police, external.

    Jeremy Williams, 55, from Wigston, was killed when he was involved in a collision with a transit van near the entrance to the Armourgeddon Military Museum on the A5199 near Husbands Bosworth on Saturday afternoon.

    No-one else was injured in the crash but police have appealed for witnesses.

    The A1 northbound is still closed between Ranby and Blyth, near Worksop, following a two-vehicle crash at about 04:50.

    Nottinghamshire Police said no-one suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision and the road is expected to reopen later this morning.

    A major shortage of private rental properties suitable for disabled people has been exposed by a new report.

    The Equalities and Human Rights Commission said 93% of 8.5 million rental properties in the UK were not accessible to the disabled.

    BBC news reporter Ellis Palmer visited seven estate agents in Derby to try to find a property he could move into without having to make any adaptations.

    Despite looking at hundreds of listings, no accessible properties were available to rent on the private market in the city - and even getting in and out of the estate agents' shops proved difficult
