At this time of year it's not unusual to find a tree with a few decorations hanging off the branches.
But what is unusual is to discover they're plastic bags full of dog poo.
Dad-of-two Matt Fullwood, of Carrington, was "disgusted" when he noticed about "30 or 40 bags" hanging in a tree next to Carrington Primary school in Nottingham.
He believes an inconsiderate dog walker has been putting them there for months but the full "horrible" extent was only been revealed when the leaves fell from the trees.
He added that many children pass by and as some of the bags are at face height they might investigate.
Quote MessageIt looks like a horrible version of a Christmas tree. I hope whoever did this reads this and sees that it is not acceptable."

Pubs and bars across Leicestershire and Rutland have launched a new project to help people who feel in danger on a date or night out over the festive period.
The Ask for Angela campaign means people who feel unsafe and uncomfortable with who they're with can ask a member of staff to 'speak to Angela' and get discreet help.
Venues supporting the scheme will display this poster which shows staff will help the person to call a friend or a taxi, or to sit in a quiet room away from other customers.
It has been supported by Leicestershire Police and charities Crimestoppers and Victim First.

It has been decorated with 50 images of stones and 1,000 painted stones have been put on board for people to take away and place around the country.

This weekend marks 20 years since a horrific crash in Leicestershire which killed five footballers of the same team.
The five men died when their minibus collided with a lorry on the A42 near Measham, and 13 others were injured.
They were all players and supporters of pub football team Groby Stamford FC and were heading for a Christmas night out.
Nigel Thompson whose brother Paul died in the crash said it had an impact on the whole community and he often talks to his children about the day.
"We have to remember it," he told BBC Radio Leicester. "Not as a negative thing, but as a positive thing.
"There's still memorabilia in the Stamford Arms and there's still a bell that gets rung as a memorial."
