The defence case in the trial of a man accused of manslaughter over the deaths of two members of the Cornish shanty group Fisherman's Friends is due to start today.
David Naylor, 57, from Bridgnorth in Shropshire, faces two counts of manslaughter by gross negligence after singer Trevor Grills, 54, and tour manager Paul McMullen, 44, died when they were hit by a falling door at G Live in Guildford on 9 February 2013.
Mr Naylor, director of Express Hi-Fold Doors Ltd, denies the charges.
