    • In Devon, there are reports of an incident in Dawlish on Langdon House Road, near Exeter Road 
    • There's heavy traffic in both directions of the A39 between Bideford and Barnstaple 
    • In Plymouth, one lane is closed on Wolseley Road, near the St Budeaux bypass, for roadworks. Traffic is slow-moving on the bypass, with queues back to the A38 
    • In Kenton, the A379 South Town is shut both directions due to a burst water main. Diversions are in place 
    • On the A380 Telegraph Hill, there's heavy traffic from Ashcombe heading towards Exeter 
    • From Kennford, heading towards Exeter, there's slow-moving traffic on the A38 and M5 
    • In Fremington, there are reports the B3233 is very slippery. Approach with care 
    • In Cornwall, there's slow traffic on the A38 and A388 at the Carkeel Roundabout, near Saltash 
    • On the A38 from Trerulefoot, heading towards Plymouth, there's slow moving traffic
    • Skybus flights to the Isles of Scilly are currently on hold due to fog. Day return passengers are advised to rebook or cancel with a full refund

    Arson is the suspected cause of a fire at a block of public toilets in Penzance.

    Two appliances were called to the site next to the bus station at about 16:20 on Monday and fire crews wearing breathing apparatus managed to extinguish the blaze. 

    The site was then cleared of smoke using ventilation equipment, the extent of the damage is not yet clear.

    Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said police had been informed.

    Although areas towards the north coast may brighten up at times, elsewhere it will remain rather murky. But apart from a few spots of drizzle over high ground, it'll be mostly dry. Light or moderate south to southeasterly winds will be fresher further west. Maximum temperature: 12C (54F).

    Organisers of Truro's City of Lights event, held at the end of last month say the amount raised through donations and bucket collections has topped £15,000.

    But people have been warned that the event - which costs about £40,000 to put on each year - needs ongoing support if it is to continue. 

    Organisers said they would continue to fundraise throughout 2017.

    Tributes have been paid to a glider pilot and popular YouTuber who died in a crash on Dartmoor at the weekend.

    Matt Wright, from the Tiverton area, died in the crash at about 13:00 on Sunday. Police said nobody else was on board the unpowered aircraft. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has begun an investigation.

    Devon & Somerset Gliding Club chairwoman Lisa Humphries said the pilot was a "friend to all of us at the club" who was "always full of energy and loved every aspect of aviation".

    Mr Wright's YouTube channel, external has more than 14,000 subscribers, with some of his clips having more than 30,000 views.

    Education for the most vulnerable children in Devon is facing a £4.5m shortfall, the BBC has learned.

    A letter to county councillors said the shortfall in the "high needs" education budget could be made up by taking money from mainstream schools. The council's letter said the authority "will do everything we can to keep the top slice as low as possible". 

    The council said no final decision had been made. One head teacher said redundancies were possible.
