    The Stadium for Cornwall could open in time for the 2019/2020 season, it's been revealed.

    It's after the Cornish Pirates and Truro City Football Club agreed to share the proposed facility on the edge of Truro. 

    The agreement has put an end to plans for two different grounds - one for rugby and one for football - and they'll now share the venue at Langarth Farm with Truro and Penwith College.

    A transit van, a motorbike and a quad bike have all been stolen from a garage near Redruth.

    Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary which happened between 09:00 and 12:00 on 10 March 2017.

    Police said they were taken from Wheal Rose near Scorrier. The transit van and motorbike have since been found.

    • On the A38 Haldon Hill heading towards Exeter one lane is blocked due to a broken-down lorry at Harcombe Bends. Traffic is slow moving with queues back to Chudleigh
    • At Landcross on the A386 there are temporary traffic lights due to roadworks. There's also a reduced speed limit. Slow traffic in the area
    • In Plymouth heading outbound delays on Tavistock Road, Manadon Roundabout and Outland Road due to roadworks. Forder Valley Road is also slow.
    • In Barnstaple on the A39 North Road there are temporary traffic lights and roadworks by the North Devon District Hospital
    • In Barnstaple on the A361 at the Portmoor Roundabout there are roadworks and lane restrictions. Traffic is busy in the area

    Cornwall

    • Near Penryn on the A39 there is slow traffic on the approaches to the Treluswell Roundabout due to the road improvement works
    • In the Glynn Valley the A38 westbound is closed for roadworks between the superstore and Halfway House. The A390 diversion route is busy
    • Near Saltash at the Carkeel Roundabout on the A38 and A388 there is busy traffic
    • On the A394 Marazion Bypass there are temporary traffic lights for roadworks. There is slow traffic
    • In Helston there are temporary traffic lights and roadworks on the A394 near Rowe's Lane. Traffic is slow moving

    Two children have been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Kingsteignton. 

    Three fire crews were called to Calvados Park last night to deal with the blaze, involving a gas canister. It started in a garage and spread to the ground floor of the house. 

    The 11 and 14-year-old were given oxygen after breathing in smoke. 

    There has been severe fire damage to the garage and kitchen.

    Fire crews helped to treat casualties of a two-vehicle road crash in Helston yesterday.

    Nine firefighters from Helston and Mullion attended the crash on Tuesday evening.

    The crews made the two vehicles safe and treated casualties at the scene on the junction of Clodgey Lane and Trengrouse Way.

    Two in five GPs in the South West say they intend to quit within the next five years according to new research. 

    Seven out of 10 may change their work and reduce their time with patients, the research also suggests.

    The University of Exeter Medical School says its findings expose the magnitude of the region's impending heathcare crisis, and point to a deeper and more imminent national crisis than has been previously anticipated. 

    NHS England says it is working to support GPs and is trying to increase numbers.
