An inquest into the death of a one-month-old baby who died after being dropped in St Blazey has been hearing transcripts from when his mother gave interviews to police.
Cooper Johnson-Hicks died on 26 June 2016 after an incident at their home in St Blazey.
Tristan Hicks, Cooper's father, took his own life weeks later, having been also been questioned by police on suspicion of murder.
Bryony Johnson told officers she was out at the time that Cooper was dropped by Mr Hicks, and that he didn't tell her about it for more than six hours.
She said "if I'd known Tristan has dropped him on his head I'd have called the ambulance straight away".
Mr Hicks told police he had told Miss Johnson that he'd tripped over a Moses basket causing Cooper to land on his head, shortly after it happened, at around 10:00 in the morning.
"That is a lie" she said, adding "he did not tell me as soon as I got back".
An ambulance was not called until 13:49 BST after Cooper stopped breathing. He died in hospital later that day from serious head injuries.
Miss Johnson said Mr Hicks was too scared to tell her about what had happened, and instead his mother, Petra Hicks had to do so. This happened outside the Royal Cornwall Hospital at about 16:30, she told police.
