    Two people are in hospital after a light aircraft crashed in a field in Devon on Saturday, firefighters say, external.

    The Rutan Long-Ez plane overshot the runway at Dunkeswell Airfield near Honiton.

    Firefighters from Honiton, Wellington and Taunton were called just after 12:30.

    Two people were trapped in the aircraft and released by fire crews before being taken to hospital - one to Derriford by air ambulance, the other by land ambulance to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.

    A team from the Air Accident Investigation Branch is looking into what caused the crash, and a report will be published in due course.

    More than 100 people from the South West who died in the last year saved lives by being organ donors.

    Figures show 118 people donated their organs, while over the past decade, the number of donors increased by more than a third.

    The family of a 15-year-old girl from Cornwall who died after taking what police describe as an "unknown substance" say they are "devastated".

    Floral tributes have been laid for the girl, who's been named locally as Shakira Pellow. She collapsed in a park in Camborne on Friday night.

    Three teenagers, a boy and two girls also took the substance, but didn't suffer as seriously.

    Two 17-year-old boys who were arrested in connection with supplying a controlled drug, have been released on bail.

    A field was deliberately set alight in North Devon, officers have said.

    The field behind Sowden Lane was deliberately set on fire just before 19:30 on Friday.

    Police are appealing for people with information to come forward.

    Police are trying to find a man who went missing from Paignton, Devon, external.

    Alistar John Wood - who likes to be called John - went missing from the Preston area of the town, but also has links to Newton Abbot, Totnes and the South Hams.

    He was last seen at 09:50 on Sunday, and police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

    Mr Wood is described as 5ft 8 inches (1.7m) tall, medium build with short brown hair.

    He was possibly wearing a blue and white checked short-sleeve top and jeans or chinos.

    He will also be in possession of a white walking stick.
