    They all happened on the Lizard Peninsula in recent days.

    Ian Neal, from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, said the incidents took up a lot of resources.

    St Keverne, Mullion and Helston were the three responding stations. On the 19th was the most challenging, the crews responded to approximately 1,000m of fire front, which took them to about 01:00 to get under control. They remained there for about another 40 minutes monitoring for hot spots."
