A fifth person is confirmed to have died in Cornwall, having tested positive for coronavirus.
On Sunday evening it was confirmed a patient in their 60s had died at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
All of the rest of those who have died in Cornwall were over the age of 70 with underlying health conditions.
A Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust spokesperson said: "Our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time. Out of respect for their privacy we will not be commenting further.”
Cornwall Council has urged everyone to follow the government’s advice on staying at home, especially for older residents and people with underlying health conditions.
