An artist's impression of a Roman arcade has been unveiled, ahead of the remains going on display to the public this summer in Colchester.
It was built in front of a massive temple dedicated to the Emperor Claudius in the AD50s.
Philip Crummy, director of Colchester Archaeological Trust, said that the remains were discovered in 1954, but it's only recently that historians have begun to understand the scale and detail of the arcade.
