    There are hundreds of people here on the green outside St Mary's Church in Bocking and it's feeling like more of a celebration than anything.

    Young and old have been congregating all day. There have been motorbikes revving past, which was another passion of Keith's.

    There's been lots of Prodigy music playing here on the green, prompting cheering and singing.

    It's more smiles than tears here so far, with many people saying they're here to celebrate Keith's life, albeit a life cut too short, at the age of 49.

    A number of well-wishers have begun having their own mini rave outside the church as they wait for the hearse to arrive, with Prodigy music blaring from their phones.

    Musician Sapphira - originally from Melbourne in Australia - has come from London to "celebrate Keith's life".

    In the past she has raised funds for mental health awareness with the help of The Prodigy's Maxim.

    He donated some artwork to her event.

    Speaking ahead of the funeral, she said: "A really important part of mental health is to escape the day-to-day and let loose on the dance floor."

    Fan Dirk Deruiter flew in from The Netherlands on Thursday and said he had come as "it was the first opportunity to see him... and give my goodbye".

    He said the band's music had influenced him "a lot".

    "It was in 91/92 the first time I heard of them and at that time I was more in to rock music - and because of them I got more experience in dance music and when they came, it was like - shock - and from then on it has only got bigger and stronger.

    "I'm here paying tribute to Keith Flint from The Prodigy."

    She said: "I've chatted to him when he's been cycling on his mountain bike and I just wanted to pay my respects.

    "I grew up with The Prodigy and we just played them all the time when we were getting ready to go out.

    "His music is never going to fade. It's just amazing."

    Essex Live is planning an eight-page pullout, external commemorating events in next week's edition of the Essex Chronicle "for fans to keep as a lasting memory of Keith's legacy in Essex".

    The Mirror, external is asking about the true meaning of the ant symbol seen on most things "Prodigy" - "Liam Howlett once told a fan site that the ant logo represents the band because they are 'small and powerful' and you might not hear from us for a bit and then BLAMMM!"

    Metro is talking to Andy C, external, one of drum and bass's biggest DJs. He recalls the influence Flint had on him, saying "[Keith] was just so full of life, funny, soul of the party, kind, caring..."

    Electronic dance and clubbing magazine MixMag is tweeting a photograph of a tribute to Flint on Brixton Academy:

    A large group of fans has gathered near St Mary's Church in Bocking, where the cortege is expected to arrive sometime between 15:30 and 15:45 GMT.
