The report claims women and girls across the UK face relentless harassment on the street and not enough is being done to stop it.

    Quote Message

It's all pervading and as if women have accepted this as part of their lives. The report is there to challenge it and provide ways to respond.

  9. 'Patchy' service for SWR commuterspublished at 09:14 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

Commuters using South Western Railway (SWR) trains will face a reduced service for the rest of this week due to strike action.

Members of the RMT union are taking action in the long-running dispute over the use of guards on trains - walking out from today until Saturday.

SWR, which runs lines from Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Basingstoke, says it's aiming to run two out of three services today.

    Quote Message

The service is going to be patchy. Inevitably, South Western Railway is focusing on the big passenger flows into London Waterloo. So if you are on those trains you will probably OK. Where it falls down are on lesser-used routes towards the margins.
