    Hull City fans might be on a high after gaining a place in the play-off finals last night but if they're going to Wembley they might not be able to get home after the match on Saturday 28 May.

    Hull Trains has confirmed there'll be no late train due to Network Rail restrictions.

    The National Gulf Veterans and Families' Association is struggling after losing vital funding.

    The Hull-based charity which supports thousands of service personnel says it can keep going for another six months but is only just managing to survive.

    Hull FC have confirmed the game with St Helens will still go ahead on Saturday, 28 May (15:00 BST).

    There had been suggestions of moving it to avoid a clash with Hull City's play-off final.

    It's the first time in its 20-year history that cameras have been allowed in to the Humber Centre.

    Some of the most unwell people in society are treated here.

    The Queen has announced the government's legislation for the year ahead, at the state opening of Parliament.

    But Hull East MP Karl Turner isn't impressed. He says its all "window dressing" by the government.

    The controversial Shadow Gate sculpture plans in Hull have been rejected by planners.

    It had been thought the installation would get approval but the site near Beverley Gate was deemed unsuitable.

    There's disruption on the A1033 Hedon Road because of a broken down lorry.

    One lane is blocked and traffic is very slow traffic eastbound in Marfleet before the Marfleet Avenue junction. 

    Congestion is up to the Mount pleasant roundabout.

    A 16-ft high brick wall around the new Siemens development in Hull has been described as "a prison".

    It's been put up to act as a noise barrier but residents of Victoria Dock say it's blocking their view of the Humber.

    A pitch invasion at the end of Hull's match against Derby last night is being investigated.

    Hull City says it is looking into the conduct of some fans and proactively working with both Derby County and Humberside Police to try and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

    Hull City Council are warning drivers that the A1033 Mount Pleasant will be closed both ways between 20:00 and 0600 from Monday, 23 May until Friday, 3 June.

    This is due to drainage and resurfacing work between Ellis Street and A165 Holderness Road.

    We gained exclusive access to one of East Yorkshire's most secure mental health units.

    The Humber Centre treats some of the most damaged men in our society.

    All have been detained under the Mental Health Act and many have committed violent crimes.

    Network Rail say work to fix a big hole near a busy road is on track to finish by the end of the month.

    The section of the A614 near Howden has been closed since the middle of April, meaning motorists have had to use a diversion route to get around the repair work.

    A huge new pipe has been put in place but there's still a lot of earth to shift!

    We should see a little more in the way of brightness this afternoon, the clouds thinning and breaking at times to allow for some sunny spells.

    However, further showers are forecast, some of these heavy with the odd rumble of thunder possible.
