    Relatives of Alison Button, 32, last saw her at around 11:00 BST on 5 July in the Folkestone area and are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

    Sergeant Gavin Rolfe said: "We are asking anyone who knows where she is or may have seen her to call us immediately."

    Alison is described as white, slim, approximately 5ft, 6in tall and with shoulder length brown hair. It is believed she was wearing a white vest top, dark tracksuit bottoms, white trainers and black rimmed glasses when she was last seen.

    Jobcentres across the South East will be closed under plans described by unions as "an attack on the most disadvantaged".

    Centres in six towns across Sussex and Kent are among 68 to close nationwide in a move that will save £140m a year.

    Some jobs are at risk but the Department of Work and Pensions say most staff will be moved to other branches and departments.
