    The devastating fire at Bradford's landmark Drummonds Mill is now all but under control and we're live from the scene with the latest on the once iconic building that's now a burned-out shell.

    An all-female Atlantic rowing team which includes a woman from Leeds has completed a 3,000-mile race across the ocean.

    Lauren Morton is part of the Row Like a Girl, external team and, as you can see, the last leg looks just a little choppy.

    After all the pics of the burning mill in Bradford we've seen over the last 24 hours, I thought I'd share these fantastic shots sent in by Steve Wright.

    They're of The Hepworth Gallery and the River Calder Warehouse in Wakefield, complete with a rainbow that apparently appeared for an hour over the city this morning.

  6. Bradford mill fire: What we know nowpublished at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2016

    As about 30 firefighters remain at the scene of the fire which has destroyed Drummonds Mill in Bradford, this is what we know about what happened.

    West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews have worked through the day to contain the fire on Lumb Lane in Manningham, but the fire still smoulders.

    Nearby homes had to be evacuated after the basement of the building caught fire at about 11:30 on Thursday.

    The flames spread to the roof and part of the four-storey property on Lumb Lane has now collapsed, with the site still being too dangerous for firefighters to access.

    The landmark building has been reduced to rubble, with debris landing in the street opposite.

    It's well worth checking out the BBC's People's History of Pop - a project to tell the story of music in West Yorkshire and the rest of the country through mementos and memorabilia.

    This is great. It's the tour "rules" for one of Take That's first ever tours. Fascinating!

    I've been in Huddersfield today where protesters gathered outside a meeting during which proposals for the closure of A&E services in the town were discussed in detail.

    Grilled by councillors from both of the councils involved, representatives of the Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust said they'd set a target of Monday 8 February to start a consultation on the plans, but were unable to confirm what exactly it would involve and how long it would go on for.  

    It emerged at the meeting the trust is paying back £22m a year in private finance money originally borrowed to rebuild Calderdale Royal Hospital, and that the trust is on course to make £17m of savings this year.

    Some good news for the Friday drivetime rush hour in Leeds: Bridgewater Place has re-opened to all but high-sided vehicles after being completely closed to all traffic because of the gales today.

    West Yorkshire Police are urgently trying to trace a 16-year-old girl , externalwho has gone missing in Beeston.

    Sandra Haluskova was last seen at about 18:00 yesterday on Trentham Street in Beeston.

    She is 5ft 2ins tall, of athletic build with very long curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket with a feather-type collar and light blue jeans.

  13. Bradford mill fire: Firefighters 'worked courageously' on blazepublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2016

    Fire crews are likely to remain at the site of the Drummonds Mill fire on Lumb Lane in Bradford for several days.

    Dozens of firefighters are still at the scene, where the landmark building has been reduced to rubble, with debris landing in the street opposite.

    It's still not known what caused the blaze.
