Leeds based airline, Jet2, is to ban the sale of alcohol before 08:00 on all of its flights.

The ban will come into effect from this Monday and follows several recent cases of flights having to land early so that abusive passengers could be removed.

The airline had launched a scheme called "Onboard Together" which aims to cut the number of disruptive passengers on flights. Jet2 claim that more than 500 passengers have been refused travel since last year.

50 of those were given lifetime bans.
