  1. Traffic and travel: Problems on Bradford-Shipley rail routepublished at 07:28 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2017

    All rail lines between Bradford Forster Square Station and Shipley are currently blocked due to overhead wire problems, according to train operator Northern, external .

    Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Shipley with disruption expected until about 08:00, the firm says.

    Train services are conveying passengers from Bradford Interchange in both directions until further notice.  

  2. Listen: Rebranding and relaunch for Bradford's National Media Museum published at 07:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2017

    Bradford's National Media Museum has changed its name and has announced that the slightly singed spacecraft which took Tim Peake to the International Space Station is coming to the city.

    The craft will go on show at the newly re-named National Science and Media Museum .

    The venue's new name has been announced this morning, along with plans for a £1.8m interactive gallery including the Soyz TMA-19M craft.

    It will be windy through the morning and early afternoon, but winds will ease from the west during the evening  

    Tonight, it'll be dry with clear spells and light winds. 

    Cloud will gradually encroach from the west overnight, but the far east may stay clear until dawn - feeling chilly throughout.

  5. Murder investigation launched in Doncasterpublished at 06:47 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2017

    A murder investigation is under way in South Yorkshire after the death of a man in the Denaby Main area of Doncaster. 

    Police were called to flats off Wadworth Street at about 14:30 yesterday afternoon after reports a man had been assaulted.

    An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

    An 18-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
