  2. Watch: Burst water main causing delayspublished at 09:06 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    There's a bust water main on High Street in Grimethorpe this morning.

    It's on the junction of Queensway close to the roundabout, causing traffic delays of around 10 minutes.  

    Yorkshire Water say they're aware of the leak and will be en-route to take a look.

    More than half a million complaints from people in Bradford to firms were ignored last year.

    Ombudsman Services are running a consumer roadshow in the city today to help people raise issues more effectively. 

    Their Ombudsvan will be parked outside City Hall offering free advice to the public.

    South Yorkshire Firefighters have been dealing with a couple incidents this morning. 

    A person was taken to safety from a flat fire in Rawmarsh. The fire service got the call to Hague Avenue at 02:00 BST. 

    They are also currently at an incident in Grimethorpe after a fire at the former health centre at Dobren House on Cemetery Road. 

    They'd previously dealt with an incident at the same location yesterday afternoon and were called back just before 03:00 BST:

  5. Watch: Former nuclear bomber on the way to Yorkpublished at 08:03 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    A 77-foot-long nuclear bomber which will eventually be housed at the Yorkshire Air Museum sets off on a four-day journey from Paris today. 

    The Mirage IV is a gift from the French government. 

    It will leave Paris on the back of two massive transporters, before a sea crossing to Portsmouth, and then a road journey which will take it around London via the M25. 

    It's due to arrive at Elvington, just outside of York, by Friday.

    A concerned mum from South Yorkshire wants more education for children about the dangers of exchanging explicit messages and photos on mobile phones. It's something that's generally better known as sexting. 

    The mother got in touch with BBC Radio Sheffield after her 14-year-old daughter received what she says were indecent messages. 

    She became aware of the texts after her son got into a confrontation with the boy allegedly involved. 

    We can't identify the school as it is an ongoing investigation and the mother's account has been voiced by an actress:

    The funeral of athlete Derek Ibbotson is taking place in his home town of Huddersfield today.

    In 1957 he broke a world record by running a mile in three minutes 57.2 seconds. 

    He died last month aged 84.

  10. Crews in control of moorland blaze at Rishworthpublished at 06:53 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    Crews from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service have spent the night battling a large moorland fire close to Rishworth near Halifax.

    At one point the fire was so large that it could be seen from Junction 22 of the M62.

    Around 40 firefighters from eight fire engines were used to battle against the flames which were being fanned by the wind.
