Read MoreTwo teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fight believed to have involved machetes in a Leeds park on Tuesday night.
Two males, both 17, who subsequently attended hospital have been treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries "consistent with having been assaulted with weapons", police said.
The two teenagers have both been arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident on Woodhouse Moor in Hyde Park yesterday.
Police said the attack was thought to have been "targeted" and involved individuals known to each other.
Det Insp Michael Herbert said: “We are currently working to establish the full circumstances of this incident and to identify those involved.
"We are already speaking to a number of witnesses, but would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed any part of what occurred or who has any information that could assist the investigation."
Neighbourhood policing team patrols are being stepped up in the area to act as reassurance, police said.
The incident happened on the same day large crowds gathered on Woodhouse Moor as coronavirus restrictions are eased, leading to a major clean-up operation this morning.
Around 200 people who gathered in the park were dispersed by officers, according to West Yorkshire Police.
A 14-year-old boy has died after going into the water at a West Yorkshire beauty spot, police have confirmed.
Officers went to Goit Stock waterfall, off Hallas Lane, Cullingworth, just after 18:00 BST on Tuesday.
Emergency services and underwater rescue teams attended the waterfall and a body was recovered from the water, according to West Yorkshire Police.
There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances and a file has been sent to the coroner, police said.
The teenager's body was recovered from Goit Stock waterfall, near Bradford, on Tuesday, say police.

As the sun rises over Woodhouse Moor in Leeds, the early morning joggers and skateboarders are stopping to get out their phones and capture the sea of rubbish stretching across the park’s gentle slopes.
Despite multiple ‘no litter’ signs along the park’s tree-lined paths, the turf is covered by glass beer bottles, crisp packets, discarded ‘bags for life’, used disposable barbeques and nitrous oxide canisters.
The first Leeds City Council workers to arrive have already filled four hay bale-sized bags of litter, with a busy morning ahead.
With temperatures set to reach 20 degrees by 15:00 today, they may be facing a similar task tomorrow.
Do you recognise this man? Police would like to speak to him in connection with an attempted knife-point robbery in Sheffield earlier this month.
It happened at about 16:25 on Friday 5 March when the victim, a 22-year-old man, met an unknown man at premises on St Mary's Road to sell a PlayStation games console.
It's believed that as the victim was unboxing the console to show the buyer the contents, the man pulled a knife from his trousers, pointed it at the victim and attempted to steal the PlayStation.
The victim, helped by a passer-by, challenged the man for the console and the knife and the man fled the scene before police arrived.
Officers say they're "keen" to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image above as they believe he can help them with their inquiries.
A clean-up operation is under way on Woodhouse Moor after the crowds which converged on the park yesterday left behind mounds of litter.
The park in Leeds was packed with people enjoying yesterday's hot weather.
But not all of them took home their rubbish.
A refuse collection team are there this morning and beginning to work through the mess.
The BBC has contacted Leeds City Council and West Yorkshire Police for comment about yesterday's events and today's clean-up.

Pubs in Sheffield and Leeds will be among the first to benefit from a multi-million pound investment programme, the Wetherspoon chain has said.
The £145m plans will get under way within weeks of its pubs reopening fully as the coronavirus lockdown eases, the firm says.
A total of 18 new pubs will opened and "significant extensions and upgrades" will be made to scores of current pubs, it adds.
The first new pubs and extensions will be in towns and cities including Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Felixstowe, Dublin and Glasgow.
Once all 75 projects in the pipeline are completed, Wetherspoon said it anticipates investing £750m to open 15 new pubs and enlarging 50 existing pubs each year for 10 years, creating 20,000 new jobs.
However, Wetherspoon founder and chairman Tim Martin said: "The investment is conditional on the UK opening back up again on a long-term basis, with no further lockdowns or the constant changing of rules."

Read MoreA 76-year-old woman was left seriously hurt after a "hit and run" incident in Doncaster on Monday, police say.
It happened at about 09:10 yesterday on Littlemoor Lane in Balby and involved a white Ford Transit Tipper.
It's thought the Transit collided with the woman while the driver was attempting to reverse.
The driver and the passenger got out of the vehicle and saw the woman on the floor before leaving the scene, South Yorkshire Police believe.
The victim suffered serious injuries to her brain and pelvis and was taken to Hallamshire Hospital for treatment.
The Transit van was later found elsewhere in Doncaster.
The driver, a 38-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
He has been released under investigation, according to police.
A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and remains in custody, officers add.
Anyone who saw what happened, or who has dash camera footage of the incident, is being asked to get in touch with South Yorkshire Police.

Free software which was developed with help from the University of Bradford is set to help start-ups across Yorkshire, its creators say.
The software, known as BuBul, enables new company bosses to receive advice from 30 business experts in a "virtual room".
The platform is free to start-ups and gives users tailored recommendations for their businesses, based on their answers to a survey.
Founder David Greenwood, who's from Baildon, says: "When you're starting a business, there's a lot to do. There's a lot to think about, a lot to plan.
"You've got to think about the business and manage it, as well as doing all the work. It's simply impossible for somebody who's starting a new business to think about what they have to do."
David Spicer, from the University of Bradford's School of Management, adds: "We are delighted to see the launch of BuBul and look forward to seeing this delivering real benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises.
"This creates great opportunities for us and our students to learn on live business challenges, too.”
The organiser of Leeds Festival - which is already sold out - says he is confident the event will go ahead this summer.
The 2020 festival was called off due to the pandemic.
Melvin Benn says this year's festival will have a dedicated Covid medical team on-site, and all the necessary measures will be put in place to keep people safe.
"Almost certainly we will have to evidence that we are either Covid-clear or vaccinated.
"Whether we do that by a bit of paper from the doctor or whether it's a digital passport I'm not quite sure which one that will be yet but I suspect it will have to be one of the two", he said.
Headliners will be Stormzy (pictured), Liam Gallagher, Post Malone, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Disclosure and Queens Of The Stone Age.
The festival is due to take place from 27 to 29 August at Bramham Park in Leeds.
The men are charged with breaching Covid-19 restrictions at the rally in Bradford on Saturday.

Young people in Bradford are being urged to enter a competiton to design a new mural in the city centre.
The mural will be part of Bradford's 2025 City of Culture bid and should represent the "joy or hope" inspired by the city, organisers say.
The winner of the competition, which is open to 11 to 18-year-olds in the district, will work with a professional street artist to make the design a reality.
Entries should also include information about the artist, according to organisers, external.
Sarah Manning, young ambassador for Bradford's UK Capital of Culture bid, says: "We thought of creative and imaginative ways to be a voice for young people, so their ideas and thoughts can be heard throughout the bid when we apply.
"Because Bradford is one of the youngest cities in Europe, we thought it's really important that all our voices are heard."
